Five Fall Favorites // Missionary Biographies

Rebekah over at Read Another Page has been hosting a blog party. It's been great hearing of so many new book recommendations. I thought I would post my top five favorite missionary biographies. In no particular orders.

In the Shadow of the Almighty
This book focuses on the life of missoinary Jim Elliot, who gave his life for the Auca people.
Through Gates of Splendor

While the aforementioned book focuses on Jim Elliot, this book focuses on all the missionaries who died with Jim Elliot and their work with the Auca's.
The Triumph of John and Betty Stam
This is the story of a missionary couple who gave their lives in China.
Missionary Heroism
This book is a compilation of stories about missionaries.

Behind the Ranges

This is the story of another missionary who worked in China.

Because of no school, that gives me more time for Bible Bee studying. Here's a picture of my desk while I'm busy studying at it. Maybe after Bible Bee I'll get it all cleaned up. This is my last year to compete (sadness =() so, I'm trying to really focus on it and make it count.

Maybe when I have some inspiration and the time (...where does it all…
